VIDEO: A Group of Ukrainian Reservists Surrender and Lay Down Arms
In the suburbs of Severodonetsk, near Sirotyne, nine Ukrainian reservists have laid down their arms and surrendered without showing any resistance. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
According to the captives, they were drafted into military unit No. 3035 in May, which was stationed in Luhansk until 2014.
Among those who surrendered, three are from Severodonetsk and Rubizhne, one is a contract soldier, while the others hail from the regions of Lviv, Ternopil, Vinnytsia, and Kharkiv.
