Landslide in Gyumri Traps Citizen
On June 21, at 15:10, the Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center received information about a landslide on Shirakatsi Street in Gyumri. A firefighting team and an operational group from the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that during construction work in a pit (approximately 4 meters deep) on Shirakatsi Street, a landslide occurred, resulting in G. S. (born in 1975) being trapped under the debris.
Firefighters, in collaboration with police officers, emergency medical personnel, and local citizens, successfully rescued the trapped individual, who was then hospitalized at a medical center in Gyumri.
