A Sports Complex Named After Arthur Abraham to Be Built in Shengavit

Under the leadership of the Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister, Araik Harutyunyan, a meeting was held today to discuss the construction of a sports complex named after professional boxer and multiple world champion Arthur Abraham. This was reported by the press office of the Government of Armenia.

Participants in the meeting included Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Karen Giloyan, Chairman of the Urban Development Committee Armen Ghulyan, representatives and officials from other government agencies, as well as boxer Arthur Abraham himself.

Araik Harutyunyan welcomed the participants and reminded them that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had announced the construction of the sports complex at a previous cabinet meeting, and the aim of today’s discussion is to clarify the further course of the work.

According to the Chief of Staff, the construction of the facility named after Arthur Abraham in the Shengavit administrative district, in collaboration with the boxer, is a continuation of the government’s policy to have similar sports facilities in various regions of Armenia.

Harutyunyan emphasized that the construction of the sports complex in the Shengavit administrative district will serve as an important boost for both sports and the area’s development.

During the meeting, the responsible parties discussed the details related to the construction of the complex, and Araik Harutyunyan issued the corresponding instructions.
