Identity of Suspect in 'Yerevan City' Supermarket Armed Robbery Revealed

On June 14, police detained 27-year-old Sevda P. in the Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan. According to shamshyan.com, he is suspected of committing an armed robbery with a grenade at the currency exchange point in the 'Yerevan City' supermarket, located at 53/9 Tsarav Aghbyur Street, on June 12, and stealing a significant amount of money.

According to the website's sources, Sevda P. was brought from the New Nork police department to the Investigative Committee of Armenia's Yerevan city branch, specifically to the investigative department for Avan and New Nork administrative districts, where he was subsequently arrested.

Previously, on June 13, the masked robber armed with a grenade entered the currency exchange point operating within the 'Yerevan City' supermarket on Tsarav Aghbyur Street and threatened an employee, stealing approximately 4.5 million dram, before fleeing the scene.
