The assistance package proposed by Chancellor Karl Nehammer, Finance Minister Magnus Brunner, and Social Policy Minister Johannes Rauch aims to support residents affected by rising prices. A total of 28 billion euros will be allocated for the program until 2026.

Subsidies ranging from 500 to 1000 euros will be given to citizens based on their income level. Families with children will receive an additional amount of up to 900 euros for each child.

The authorities are also offering assistance to small and medium-sized enterprises through tax incentives and compensation for electricity payments, providing up to 3000 euros for each employee working in specific businesses.
