The most effective way to reinforce Lachin is rapid urbanization of the city. This was stated by journalist and member of the Liberation Movement, Nairi Hovhikyan, on his Facebook page.

“I am often asked by people which city Berdzor refers to, a city I speak so much about. Dear compatriots, Berdzor is the Lachin you know. If we do not fight now, then on July 1, Nikol Pashinyan will hand Lachin over to Azerbaijan. The most effective way to reinforce Lachin is rapid urbanization of the city. This will also provide Russian peacekeepers a reason not to leave the area,” he wrote.
