Haik Marutyan on Raphael Kotanjyan

The former Mayor of Yerevan, Haik Marutyan, wrote on his Facebook page: “With deep sorrow, I learned about the passing of the People's Artist of Armenia, the honorary citizen of Yerevan, Raphael Kotanjyan. My personal interactions with the master allowed me to realize that this great artist was also a person of great soul—tender and caring friend. I extend my condolences to his relatives and loved ones. May God illuminate his soul.”

It is worth noting that we had previously reported the death of the renowned artist Raphael Kotanjyan at the age of 80.
