The head coach of the Armenian national football team, Spaniard Joaquin Kaparros, and team player Edgar Babayan answered journalists' questions at a pre-match press conference.

Midfielder Edgar Babayan expressed that a tough battle is expected in the encounter against Ukraine in the third round of the Nations League.

“I am very happy to return to the national team again. We are preparing to play well tomorrow. We know Ukraine is a very strong team, but we are ready and will try to bring home 3 points. Every match is difficult. All teams in this group are very strong, and we must always be prepared. Tomorrow we will also strive to prepare well and win. We will try to play our football and achieve victory. It will not be easy,” said Edgar Babayan at the pre-match press conference.

It is noteworthy that the 26-year-old player has returned to Danish club Randers after five years. The parties have signed a three-year contract. Babayan's previous club was Danish Vejle.

The match between Ukraine and Armenia in the third round of League B, Group 1 of the Nations League will take place on June 11 in Łódź, Poland, and will start at 17:00 Yerevan time.
