“Every day we lose up to 100 soldiers”: Ukraine's Ministry of Defense on the war by the numbers
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov has stated that the situation on the front lines is severe.
“Every day we lose up to 100 soldiers, around 500 are wounded. The Kremlin continues to exert pressure through mass attacks, they are meeting strong resistance, suffering significant losses, but still have forces to advance in certain areas of the front,” Reznikov wrote on his Facebook page.
On the 104th day of the war, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that Russian forces are launching assaults in the Bohorodychne area, located on the route between the cities of Slovyansk and Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region. According to the report, there are no significant changes in other parts of the front. Fighting continues in Sievierodonetsk. The Russians have made unsuccessful attempts to assault neighboring Lysychansk from the south.
Serhiy Haidai, the head of the Luhansk regional administration, reported that three residents were killed in Lysychansk due to shelling over the past day. Russian artillery and aviation continue to bomb the regions of Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv.
