Western Sanctions Have Not Affected Russia's Stance: Zelensky Discontented

According to the British Financial Times, Vladimir Zelensky stated that Western sanctions have not impacted Russia's position. He criticized Kyiv's partners for calling for a ceasefire without specific conditions.

He also mentioned that some countries are supporting Ukraine on one hand, while on the other, they are "checking to see what can be done to ease the sanctions so that business is not affected."

It should be noted that several Western countries have imposed new sanctions against the Russian Federation due to the situation unfolding in Ukraine.

According to Dmitry Peskov, press secretary to the President of Russia, the Western sanctions are very serious, and Russia was prepared for them in advance. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Western companies refusing to work with Russia did so under immense pressure, but Russia will solve all economic problems created by the West.
