NATO to Conduct Exercises in Turkey

Amid disagreements regarding Sweden and Finland's accession to NATO, the North Atlantic Alliance is set to hold exercises in Turkey. This was reported by the Turkish Anadolu news agency, as noted by Газета.

According to the report, the Ramstein Dust II-2022 (RADU II-22) exercises are scheduled to take place from June 20 to 28 at the 3rd Main Jet Base in Konya.

The Turkish Ministry of Defense clarified that the exercises are planned to coincide with the "Anatolian Eagle-2022" international exercises.

Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that Sweden and Finland would not join NATO until Ankara's demands were met, particularly regarding the cessation of support for terrorism, primarily concerning the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
