I Expect the First 'Beret' to be Arrested Soon: Melikyan on the Case of Breaking a Citizen's Hand

There has been progress in the case against a citizen's hand being broken by a red beret. This was stated by Ruben Melikyan, co-founder of the NGO 'Legal Path', on his Facebook page.

He also added, “The investigation into the May 17 incident on Teryan Street has been slow but has moved forward significantly. On May 30, a criminal case was initiated under Article 309, part 2 (2-6 years) in the Anti-Corruption Committee, and the investigator has discovered videos, one of which clearly depicts everything. I expect that the first ‘beret’ responsible for the violence will be arrested in the coming days.”
