Greece Aims to Export Ukrainian Grain in Cooperation with Turkey Under UN Support
Greece intends to export Ukrainian grain in collaboration with Turkey. This was announced by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Tuesday. As reported by Kp.ru, Mitsotakis stated, “We can work with Turkey regarding the food crisis,” during his speech at the ‘New Era’ conference on the health care system.
The Prime Minister reminded that nearly 20 million tons of wheat are “blocked in Ukraine and can only be transported by sea.” He added, “Turkey plays a crucial role in the Black Sea, as does Greece, which has the largest merchant fleet. Let’s look at the areas where we could work together under the auspices of the UN and provide services,” as quoted by the Macedonian News Agency of Athens.
