To Break Free from the Stalemate of a Failed Movement, There’s No Need to Hint at Packing Up the Tents: Chakhoyan
Deputy Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister Taron Chakhoyan made a post on his Facebook page addressing statements made by the opposition regarding the government's intention to remove tents from France Square ahead of Lavrov's visit. Chakhoyan's post is presented below:
“If the Armenia Alliance believes that the absence of tents at France Square will not hinder their created 'political crisis', then why don't they remove the tents themselves? As they claim, it won't hinder them anyway. To break free from the stalemate of a failed movement, there's no need to hint at packing the tents; instead, they should accept their own defeat and take down the tents set up at France Square, especially since the square usually hosts only 40-50 people throughout the day, and most of the tents are always empty. Political maturity is needed to understand that voluntarily removing the tents increases the chances of gaining public sympathy.”
It should be noted that earlier, MP Agnesa Khameoyan from the
