No Currency Shortage in Armenian Banks, Central Bank States

The Central Bank of Armenia has confirmed that there is no deficit of foreign currency in the country’s financial system, responding to a written inquiry from Sputnik Armenia.

The Central Bank has not recorded any issues regarding a shortage of foreign currency, whether in exchange points or commercial banks.

Recently, there have been reports on social media suggesting that there is a shortage of dollars and euros in Armenian banks and exchange points.
