CB Leadership Willing to Ease Requirements, Says Samson Grigoryan
Samson Grigoryan, leader of the "Suspend" movement and businessman, made a statement: "We had a meeting at the Central Bank today. There will be changes related to the fees for cash register devices and cashless transaction intermediaries, as well as the licensing fees for activating POS terminals. We will continue our meetings; the leadership of the Central Bank is willing to ease the requirements as much as possible so that the transition to the new cashless conditions starting from July 1 will be as painless as possible for economic operators.
After finalizing the terms with the banks, the Central Bank will issue a statement. I will discuss more detailed conditions and service rates in about 10 days. In the meantime, we will continue our collaborative work. Please be informed that the conditions for connecting to the POS system will change."
