This is What Happens When Deserted Soldiers from the 44-Day War End Up in the Center of Yerevan: Davoyan
Saghatelyan Ishkhan and the remaining adventurers are responsible for yesterday's clash. This was stated by the MP of the Armenian National Assembly from the "Civil Contract" faction, Arpi Davoyan, on her Facebook page.
"Saghatelyan Ishkhan and the remaining adventurers are responsible for yesterday's clash. This is what happens when you want to lift a weight beyond your means, when you convince yourself and surround yourself with revengeists that the revolution is in your pocket, but finding yourself in an impossible situation, you consider provoking clashes and encouraging people to commit illegal actions as a lifesaver. It is important to understand whose task Ishkhan was fulfilling and what issue he was solving while throwing stones at the police, and if it has been his long-standing dream, that too should be understood. This is what happens when deserting soldiers from the 44-day frontline end up in the center of Yerevan," she said.
It should be noted that the Health Ministry reported that as a result of the incident that occurred the day before at the Proshyan-Demirchyan intersection, both civilians and police officers were injured. In total, 60 people sought medical attention, 39 of whom were police officers. Ishkhan Saghatelyan also stated, "Several MPs from the Civil Contract party have been trying to create grounds for my arrest since the first day of the Resistance movement. This was a provocation organized by the police on the orders of Nikol Pashinyan."
