16 People Killed: Artsakh Prosecutor's Office Presents Azerbaijan's Crimes

From the tripartite statement on November 9, 2020, until June 1, 2022, a total of 89 crimes were committed by the Azerbaijani armed forces against the residents of Artsakh. In connection with these crimes, 72 criminal cases have been initiated, reported the Office of the Prosecutor General of Artsakh.

Sixteen people have been killed (three civilians), while 101 have been subjected to attempted murder (44 civilians). Additionally, 43 individuals have sustained gunshot wounds and have been subjected to physical violence.

"Since November 2020, Azerbaijani positions located near the villages adjacent to Stepanakert, Askeran, Martuni, and Shushi have regularly fired shots of various calibers towards nearby Armenian settlements or into the air, attempting to terrorize the civilian population and keep them constantly in a state of fear," the statement from the prosecutor's office read.
