VIDEO: "We're heading to the government residence," says Saghatelyan

Opposition members who have surrounded the government building are marching towards the government residence. This was announced a short while ago by Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a member of the "Resistance" movement, Vice President of the National Assembly, and a deputy from the "Armenia" faction at Republic Square, marking the start of the march.

“We’re going to the government residence again in pursuit of our issues. We say: don’t run away, Nikol! Come out and answer the main question of the people. Otherwise, you traitor, get out!” said Saghatelyan.

It should be noted that for more than 2.30 hours, opposition members had blocked the entrances to the Armenian government.

As previously reported, the extraordinary session of the National Assembly scheduled for 16:00 was postponed by 4 hours due to the absence of quorum. Only 33 deputies were registered to attend the session.

According to the regulations of the National Assembly, registration remains open and continues until the required number of deputies is registered, but not longer than 4 hours. If quorum is not achieved after 4 hours, the session is automatically declared failed. The 4-hour mark expires at 20:00.
