«They treated him, gave parental care and warmth»: Where has the little one, taken out of Debed, been transferred?
On April 25, a 2-year-old boy named Arev, found in the Debed River in Alaverdi, has been discharged from the ‘Holy Mother of God’ Medical Center and transferred to the Children’s Care Center of the Armenia Fund.
This information was shared by the press secretary of the ‘Holy Mother of God’ Medical Center, Gevorg Derzyan, on his Facebook page, thanking the entire staff of the center.
“For more than a month, our doctors not only treated him but also provided parental care and warmth,” Derzyan noted in his post.
It is reported that the boy, Arevik, was thrown into the Debed River by his mother on April 25 and was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition. He suffered from abdominal and thoracic injuries as well as dehydration.
The boy’s mother is currently in custody.
