Police Did Not Open the Street, Resorting to Provocations: Ishkhan Saghatelyan

The Vice President of the National Assembly and representative of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, stated during a Facebook live session today that "there were clashes—what Nikol has been dreaming of for a long time."

“After presenting our demands near the government summer residence, we wanted to go towards the National Assembly, and then to France Square. The police did not open the street, resorted to provocations, resulting in clashes—what Nikol has been dreaming of for so long,” he said.

He emphasized that they had previously announced that there would be no assault on any building. “The police used special measures, behaved recklessly, beat, and used violence. There are detainees and injured persons,” he added.
