Ministry of Defense Issues Statement on Border Situation

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia has refuted the latest misinformation disseminated by Azerbaijan. In a statement, it noted: 'The message from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense regarding alleged fire opened by Armenian Armed Forces units using various calibers of firearms and grenade launchers towards Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on the evening and night of June 2 is another piece of disinformation. The situation along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable and is under the full control of the RA Armed Forces.'
