Excavator Overturns During Work, Driver Rescued from Underneath by Emergency Services

Today, June 3, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 11:15 AM, the Emergency Situations Ministry’s 9-11 crisis management center received a call reporting that an excavator of Honda brand had overturned at the address 6/77 Bagratunians Street, and the driver was trapped inside the machinery.

According to photoreporter Gagik Shamshyan from the scene, emergency responders and police worked alongside the construction workers in the area, using a crane to partially lift the overturned excavator before extracting 62-year-old Gurgen Ghazaryan from beneath it.

Medical personnel provided first aid on-site, after which he was transported to Erebuni Medical Center under the accompaniment of A. Dadoyan.
