Will Serbia Send Weapons to Ukraine? The Country's President Comments

Serbia will not send weapons to Ukraine, as it does not wish to take sides in this conflict. This statement was made on Thursday by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić during a speech at the three-day Globsec forum in Bratislava.

“Tomorrow I will visit Ukrainian refugees, and we will not send weapons because we do not want to be on the side of war,” Vučić said. “We will not choose sides in this war,” the Serbian leader emphasized further.

Earlier, Serbian Foreign Minister Nikola Selaković stated that Serbia is ready to provide all kinds of humanitarian aid to Ukrainian citizens, as well as to participate in the reconstruction of Ukrainian cities.
