What Happens Tomorrow Will Remain Indelible in History: Ghazinyan on the Absence of Ruling Party Members from Parliament Session
Tomorrow's absence of the ruling My Step faction from the National Assembly will mark their political death sentence, as they will cease to exist as a political factor in Armenia, said Arthur Ghazinyan, a member of the Armenia faction, in a conversation with journalists, referring to the extraordinary session scheduled for June 3, which will address Armenia's positions regarding the establishment of relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey.
The announcement is authored by the parliamentary opposition. The ruling majority has informed that they will not participate in the extraordinary session.
“There is not a single Armenian in the world who would express opposition to the points outlined in the announcement. It is simply impossible. These are existential questions that form the basis of Armenian statehood,” said Ghazinyan.
The opposition MP emphasized that the My Step faction members, by not attending the extraordinary session, confirm their rejection of the pro-Armenian agenda.
“My advice is this: if there are any remaining individuals among them who consider themselves Armenian and serve Armenian interests, they should set aside all their agreements, fears of Pashinyan and his small group, and present themselves honorably at the session tomorrow, stating that we are here to affirm that we are Armenian and serve Armenian interests. You still have time because what happens tomorrow will remain indelible in history,” the MP added.
