VIDEO: Man Steals Wallet from Fallen Hero's Sister at Yerablur

On May 31, at 17:25, a call was received by the Yerevan division of the Ministry of Defense's military police regarding an unknown individual stealing a wallet belonging to M. Khachatryan, the sister of fallen serviceman Major Georgi Lyovayi Minasian, who had visited his grave at the Yerablur military pantheon-memorial.

The wallet contained cash, bank cards, and other personal items. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.

The operational units of the military police immediately began efforts to identify the perpetrator. On the following day, June 1, as a result of operational-investigative measures carried out by the military police's investigative department, a resident of Yerevan, V. A., was apprehended on Andranik Street. He provided a confession based on factual data gathered at the scene.

A criminal case has been initiated at the Yerevan division of the military police under Article 177, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
