Roskomnadzor Blocks Website of Radio Free Europe’s Armenian Service
Roskomnadzor has blocked the Russian-language website of Radio Free Europe’s Armenian service, as well as the portal of the Finnish broadcaster Yle, according to data from the "Roskomsvoboda" website.
The decision was made at the request of the General Prosecutor's Office, and access has been restricted for all domains and subdomains, the report states.
It is noted that Radio Free Europe’s Armenian service broadcasts in Russian, Armenian, and English. Yle broadcasts in several languages, including Russian.
Since the start of the war in Ukraine, Roskomnadzor has blocked dozens of media outlets, as well as the websites of Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
