Our Government is Not Planning to Deviate from its Strategy and Tactics - Arayik Harutyunyan

Our government is public in its actions and statements. What happens behind closed doors is also open behind closed doors. This was stated by Arayik Harutyunyan, the head of the Office of the Prime Minister, during a conversation with journalists.

He also referred to the opposition's actions, noting that if the opposition behaves as a partner, they will receive a partnership attitude in return. However, if the opposition presents certain demands and surpasses the bounds of morality and civilization, the government must respond accordingly from its position of authority. If the opposition continues to act in the same manner, it will simply be met with rejection.

“Just look at how the opposition behaves—storming the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, how it acted with those who are mobilizing for the Artsakh issue. The opposition, although weak and with limited influence, creates problems in the foreign policy sphere due to the actions of specific individuals,” he stated.

According to Harutyunyan, it is not the opposition that should force the government to deviate from its plans. “I want everyone to support the government that received the overwhelming majority of votes from our people last year. A year ago, our people gave their answer, and now they are going door to door, desperately trying to shift some agendas. The current government is not planning to deviate from its strategy and tactics under the influence of a small group,” Harutyunyan concluded.
