Lithuania to Acquire Bayraktar Drones for Ukraine

Lithuanian and Turkish representatives have signed an agreement in Ankara that allows Lithuania to purchase Bayraktar combat drones. International news outlets report this development.

The country will finance the acquisition of such drones and other equipment through the funds collected by residents via the 'Laisves' initiative, with the aim of supplying these drones to Ukraine.

The memorandum regarding the intent to procure Turkish weapons was signed by the Deputy Minister of Defense and the head of Turkey's defense industry agency.
