Aren’t You Tired, Dear Opposition Colleagues? Arsen Torosyan to Opposition

KP faction MP Arsen Torosyan wrote on his Facebook page:

“Crossroads, turning point, decisive day, turning point, breakthrough situation, dual power, the government is in panic, the government is collapsing, etc., etc.... Aren’t you tired, dear opposition colleagues, of such fruitless statements and misleading your own supporters or followers?

Have you not finally understood that the government formed after the 2018 and 2021 parliamentary elections, regardless of the political force’s name, can no longer be like the previous governments in its nature, its attitude, and the effectiveness of the criticism directed against it? Those elections expressed the real will of the voters, no matter how much it doesn’t sit well with you.

Don’t you understand, as a political force, that you are in a deadlock, and with such methods, you will neither increase your current rating nor your potential votes in the next elections?

Do you not realize, dear colleagues, that your approach of determining internal 'enemies', labeling them with various names, and fighting against them with tools contrary to logic (flags, songs, etc.) has failed?

Have you not realized that the face of your completely false, obsolete, counterproductive agenda that has misled many for decades is now torn apart?

When will you finally understand all of this...

P.S. Any government and political force make mistakes and omissions. Healthy political forces talk about them and routinely stand before the judgment of voters during early or regular elections if they are conducted fairly (and they have been conducted fairly for 4 years now). Unhealthy or anti-democratic forces do not admit their mistakes, do not discuss them with voters, reject the democratic instruments of power formation, and want to seize power just like that, without elections, which, of course, will not happen. It will not happen, not because we are clinging to power, but because democracy in the Republic of Armenia must be an absolute value and no one should undermine that value.”
