Kamaz Trucks of Residents from Malishka Village Collide in Syunik Province, One Injured

Today, on May 30, a major traffic accident occurred in Syunik province. Around 17:10, on the 194.5 km segment of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, Arsen Kh., a 36-year-old resident of Vayots Dzor province, lost control of his Kamaz truck and, moving in reverse, collided with another Kamaz truck driven by Nver A., a 42-year-old resident of Vayots Dzor province.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the collision, Arsen Kh.’s Kamaz overturned, and he was taken to the Sisian medical center with bodily injuries. An operational team from the Sisian Fire and Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations promptly arrived at the scene.

The firefighters disconnected the vehicles from the power supply, secured the area, and then performed cleaning operations. The overturned Kamaz was loaded with cement raw materials, which spilled and filled the roadway.
