It is Known Who Will Be Invited to the Investigation Commission: 'Zhoghovurd'

'Zhoghovurd' newspaper reports that it has become known who will be invited to the investigation commission examining the circumstances of the 44-day war in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. As previously reported, a meeting involving members of the ruling Civil Contract Party was held on May 20. A list has been compiled regarding who will be invited to the commission during June.

Specifically, next month, the investigation commission is expected to invite 6-8 former officials. Notably, the main focus of the invitation list includes the heads of the Armed Forces General Staff and former ministers of defense since 2016. It remains unclear who will accept the invitation and who will not.

Additionally, it should be mentioned that this commission was established in the National Assembly on February 10, and until now, it has only engaged in working discussions rather than substantive ones. Thus, it has taken only three months for them to decide to compile a list and move forward.

Judging by the situation and past experiences, this commission seems to have been created for mere 'show' and no significant revelations that are promised will likely materialize. More details will be available in today’s newspaper issue.
