Wet Snow and Temperature Drop Expected in Certain Mountainous Areas Overnight, Ministry of Emergency Situations

Attention: On the evening of May 24 and overnight from the 24th to the 25th, wet snow and a drop in air temperatures to around 0…-1 degrees Celsius are expected in certain mountainous areas of the republic.

Throughout the republic, significant rainfall and thunderstorms are anticipated in many regions during the night of May 25, with isolated regions experiencing possible hail. From May 26 to 29, dry weather is expected.

The wind will be from the west at 2-5 m/s, with gusts up to 15-20 m/s during thunderstorms. The air temperature during the day on May 24 will drop by 7-10 degrees, and then gradually rise by 10-12 degrees.

In Yerevan, rainfall and thunderstorms are expected intermittently on the night of May 25, with wind gusts of 15-18 m/s expected during the thunderstorms. On the day of May 25 and from May 26 to 29, dry weather is anticipated.
