US Treasury Decides Not to Extend License for Russia's Foreign Debt Servicing
The Office of Foreign Assets Control of the United States Department of the Treasury has decided not to extend the general license that allows Russia to make payments on its external debt servicing. This has been reported by RT.
It is noted that the current license is set to expire on May 25 at 07:01 AM Moscow time.
Earlier, US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen stated that Washington is unlikely to extend Russia's general license.
