Video: Russian Defense Ministry Shows Last Ukrainian Soldiers Surrendering from Azovstal

The Russian Defense Ministry has released a video showing how the last militants of the "Azov" nationalist battalion and Ukrainian armed forces are exiting the tunnels of Azovstal.

Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu reported to President Vladimir Putin about the complete liberation of Azovstal and Mariupol from Ukrainian fighters. The underground facilities of the factory are now under full control of the Russian armed forces.

The "Azov" battalion commander has also surrendered. He was extracted in an armored vehicle due to threats of retaliation from local residents.

It is noted that on May 16, 2439 neo-Nazi fighters of Azov and Ukrainian armed forces servicemen who were encircled in the factory area laid down their arms and surrendered.
