Zelensky Reveals How Food and Weapons Were Delivered to Azovstal

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has recounted the efforts to deliver food and ammunition during the siege of the Azovstal factory. This was reported by Meduza.

According to Zelensky, the operations were conducted using helicopters, during which many pilots lost their lives. “Many of our pilots, unfortunately, were killed. Absolutely heroic individuals who knew it was difficult, nearly impossible to fly to Azovstal, to bring medicines, food, water, and to take away the dead and the wounded,” he stated.

The Russian Ministry of Defence has repeatedly reported downed helicopters attempting to penetrate Azovstal.
