Video: May Snow in Tsilqar Village of Aragatsotn Province

The head of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations' meteorological service, Gagik Surenyants, has posted on his Facebook page announcing that snow is falling in the Tsilqar village of Aragatsotn Province.

Earlier, the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center reported that on May 20, especially during the evening hours, a significant drop in air temperature is expected across the country due to the passage of a cold atmospheric front.

After noon and towards the evening, substantial rainfall and thunderstorms are anticipated in many regions, while wet snow is also expected in some high-altitude settlements.

In the provinces of Shirak, Aragatsotn, Armavir, Ararat, and Vayots Dzor, wind gusts are expected to intensify, reaching 20-25 m/s and more.
