Canada Bans Export of Luxury Goods to Russia

Canada has added 14 individuals to its list of anti-Russian sanctions and has imposed a ban on the export of luxury goods. This was reported by RT.

According to a statement from Canada's Foreign Ministry, "There is a ban on the export of luxury goods to Russia, as well as an import ban on targeted luxury goods from Russia." The ministry's website also notes that "new sanctions are being imposed on 14 Russian oligarchs and their family members." Previously, Canada's Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino announced that Ottawa is prohibiting nearly 1,000 Russian nationals from entering the country. Specifically, the sanctions pertain to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
