Autonomous Tesla Cars to Appear in Just One Year, Says Elon Musk

Autonomous Tesla cars, which will not require a driver to be present at the wheel, will be available in just one year. This was announced by American entrepreneur Elon Musk.

Currently, produced Tesla cars are equipped with autopilot technology that requires the presence of a driver in the cabin. The system can adjust the vehicle's trajectory, accelerate, and brake, but the driver must still be prepared to take control.

Musk is confident that Tesla's new self-driving car model will be safe for both passengers and road users.

Previously, it was reported that Tesla had announced the launch of preliminary orders for the Tesla Semi truck. The buyer is required to pay the company $20,000; however, there is no specific timeline for the start of deliveries. The company is eagerly looking forward to 2023.
