Near the building of the Military Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee, where parents of soldiers who died in the 44-day war are holding a protest, the situation is tense.

“We demand the release of Garik! If he is not released within an hour, we will come after you,” the protesters had said earlier.

It is worth noting that lawyer Vahan Hovhannisyan wrote on his Facebook page today: “This morning, by the investigator's decision, Garik Galeyan, the father of fallen soldier Mekhak Galeyan, was arrested. Garik Galeyan had applied to the investigator to arrest Nikol Pashinyan, but instead of Pashinyan's arrest, Galeyan was detained.”
