Makunts Reaches Out to Dashnaktsutyun Members for Meeting on "Important Issue"

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that the Ambassador of Armenia to the USA, Lilit Makunts, has been completely rejected by the Armenian-American community. She has been struggling to mend relations with the community. Recently, she reached out to well-known members of the local Dashnaktsutyun party, earnestly requesting a meeting for an "important issue."

However, she did not disclose the topic, and members of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) believed there was a serious matter concerning the fate of Armenia, agreeing to meet but insisted it would take place in a private location and without public announcement. When it became clear that Makunts was merely asking for support for a film premiere, the ARF representatives bid her a "cultural" farewell and left.

It's worth noting that just weeks ago, ARF youth accompanied her to her car while waving the flag of Artsakh and chanting "traitor," and just days later, they attempted to douse the ambassador with water. For more details, refer to today's issue of the newspaper.
