Kadyrov: 'I fear the sanctions of the Almighty and Putin, the rest is absurd'

The leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has described the sanctions imposed on him and his family members by Western countries as 'laughable'. He stated that he is only afraid of 'the Almighty and the sanctions from Russian President Vladimir Putin'. This revelation was made during his speech at the all-Russian 'New Horizons' forum, as reported by polit.ru.

'It is laughable. My wife and married daughters have never participated in politics and haven’t worked anywhere. Yet, they imposed sanctions against them... They just want to scare us. I am afraid of the sanctions from the Almighty and the president of the country, the rest is nonsense,' Kadyrov said.

The Chechen leader also compared the anti-Russian sanctions to a blockade. 'More than 40 countries are against our country. They imposed sanctions against the entire Russian people. They want to destroy... the Stalingraders... The same goes for hunger, cold, in order to collapse the economy,' Kadyrov added.
