Video: Tragic Pedestrian Accident on Kiev Street Today

In the framework of a criminal case initiated under Part 2 of Article 242 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, the Investigative Committee of Armenia's Yerevan Investigation Department is conducting investigative and procedural actions to clarify the circumstances of a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred on Kiev Street in Yerevan.

Preliminary data indicate that at approximately 01:40 AM on May 16, 2022, a 32-year-old man driving a Toyota struck a pedestrian, resulting in the pedestrian's death due to negligence. Following the incident, the vehicle collided with a Mercedes.

A forensic examination of the body has been ordered. An investigation is ongoing.
