Ukrainian Soldiers Exit Azovstal with White Flag, Negotiations Underway

Ten Ukrainian soldiers have exited the Azovstal factory in Mariupol under a white flag. This was reported during a broadcast of the Russian program '60 Minutes' by Alexander Khodakovsky, founder of the 'Vostok' battalion.

He noted that the soldiers mentioned they were representing the interests of a larger group of Ukrainians still inside the factory and are requesting negotiations.

“Negotiations are currently underway. This was just the first group to exit. As it turned out, the group represents the interests of a large number of people who continue to be in Azovstal,” Khodakovsky stated during the ‘60 Minutes’ broadcast.
