Putin to Meet with Leaders of CSTO Member States, But Will Not Meet Pashinyan: What Peskov Said
Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold bilateral talks with his counterparts from Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan after the main portion of the CSTO summit on Monday, said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, according to Tacc.
"President Putin, after the conclusion of this multilateral portion, will continue the series of bilateral meetings, specifically his bilateral meeting with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, and Kyrgyz President Sadir Japarov," Peskov told reporters on Monday.
Before the main part of the summit, Putin met with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.
Notably, Peskov’s statement indicates that a bilateral meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan does not seem to be planned, despite him also attending the CSTO summit.
It should be noted that Auroranews has made numerous calls to the Government's press office to clarify details, but our calls went unanswered.
It is worth reminding that the last meeting between Pashinyan and Putin took place on April 19.
