Peskov on the Development of a Joint Document Between Russia and Ukraine
There has been no progress in the development of a joint document between Russia and Ukraine, as Kyiv has not responded to Moscow's proposals. This information was shared with journalists by the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov.
Previously, he stated that the negotiation process between Russia and Ukraine is quite passive and ineffective without intermediaries.
“Our conditions are well-known; they are clearly outlined on paper. All of this has been communicated to the Ukrainian side, but there has been no response,” noted the press secretary of the Russian president.
Commenting on the situation in Mariupol, Peskov stated that the Russian side is basing its actions on the president's statement regarding the ability of all civilians to leave the factory area at their own discretion, which has been carried out.
“As for the military personnel, it has been said that they can also leave by laying down their arms. They will be treated appropriately, and all injured will receive necessary medical assistance. The president's words are the command of the Supreme Commander,” Peskov said.
