Found Under His Own Car: Life Could Not Be Saved

Today, on May 16, a tragic incident occurred in the Lori province. Around 13:30, the 9-1-1 emergency call center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report that a citizen was trapped under a car in front of house number 51 on Maxim Gorky Street in Stepanavan, and that assistance from rescuers was needed to extract him.

According to a photojournalist, firefighters rescued 61-year-old Lernik Chatinian from under an Opel Zafira. He was then attended to by emergency medical personnel who arrived promptly. Unfortunately, he died on the way to the hospital without regaining consciousness.

According to G. Shamshyan, the vehicle belonged to the deceased, and he somehow ended up under his own car.
