VIDEO: The Perpetrator of the Mass Shooting in the US is an 18-Year-Old

A mass shooting occurred on Saturday in Buffalo, New York, resulting in the deaths of ten people, according to CNN.

The suspect was equipped with tactical gear and live-streamed the attack, as reported by law enforcement representatives.

The shooting took place around noon at Tops Friendly Markets. The suspect is in custody and has been identified as 18-year-old Payton Gendron, who has pleaded not guilty.

Thirteen people suffered gunshot wounds from the attack, ten of whom succumbed to their injuries. Eleven of the victims were African American, while two were white.

The US Department of Justice is treating the mass shooting as a "hate crime and racially motivated violence."
