Details Emerge on NATO's New Strategy, Blinken Clarifies
NATO's new strategy will also include the containment of Russia. This was stated by Secretary of State Antony Blinken, as reported by RIA Novosti.
During a NATO ministers' meeting in Berlin, Blinken announced that the alliance's new strategy will be developed and discussed at the summit scheduled to take place in Madrid in June. He emphasized that the foundation of the strategy is defense and deterrence.
“And that includes defending and deterring against Russian aggression. I believe that will be fully reflected in the strategic concept,” Blinken said.
