Russia Ready to Be First to Use Nuclear Missiles: State Duma
Russia is prepared to be the first to use nuclear missiles if the country faces a real threat to its existence. This was stated by Alexey Zhuravlyov, the first deputy chairman of the Defense Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, in an interview with URA.RU.
“Russia can deliver the first nuclear strike. This will happen if there is a threat to the existence of the Russian Federation,” Zhuravlyov clarified.
Moreover, according to him, today the United States is doing everything to spark a Third World War. “Just not on their territory. Nevertheless, they will try to avoid nuclear strikes but will engage all of Europe in a conflict with Russia, inflaming the situation in Asia. They will be able to attribute all their problems to the war, just as they did in the First and Second World Wars; they only emerged from the crisis due to the wars in Europe,” the representative said.
